How to get Android Messages on PC
You can access and use Android Messages on your PC through the official “Messages for Web” feature provided by Google. This feature allows you to send and receive text messages from your Android phone using a web browser on your PC. Here’s how to set up Android Messages on your PC:
The Android Messages on your PC, your Android phone must be connected to the internet, and you should have the latest version of the “Messages” app installed on your phone.
Using Android Messages on PC (Messages for Web):
Open Messages App:
- Open the “Messages” app on your Android phone. This is the default messaging app on most Android devices.
Access Messages for Web:
- Tap the three vertical dots (menu icon) in the top-right corner of the Messages app.
Select “Messages for Web”:
- From the menu, select “Messages for Web.” This will open a QR code scanner.
Open Web Browser on PC:
- On your PC, open a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari).
Visit the Messages for Web Website:
- Go to the “Messages for Web” website by entering the following URL in your web browser: https://messages.google.com/web.
Scan QR Code:
- On the web page, you’ll see a QR code displayed. Using the QR code scanner in the Messages app on your Android phone, scan the QR code on the website. This will establish a connection between your phone and your PC.
Confirmation on Phone:
- On your Android phone, you’ll see a notification confirming that your device is connected to Messages for Web.
Start Messaging:
- Once the connection is established, you’ll see your text messages, contacts, and conversation threads on the web page. You can now send and receive text messages from your PC.
Log Out (Optional):
