How to Sign Out of Google on Android

Signing out of your Google account on an Android device is straightforward. Please note that when you sign out of your Google account, you will lose access to various Google services and apps until you sign in again. Here’s how to sign out:

Option 1: Sign Out from Settings:

1. Open the “Settings” app on your Android device. You can typically find it in the app drawer or by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear icon in the top-right corner.
2. Scroll down and tap on “Accounts” or “Accounts & Backup,” depending on your Android version.
3. Tap on “Google” or the Google account you want to sign out of.
4. On the next screen, tap on your Google email address at the top.
5. In the top-right corner of the screen, tap the three vertical dots (menu icon).
6. Select “Remove account” or “Sign out.” You may be prompted to enter your device’s unlock method (PIN, pattern, or password).
7. Confirm your choice when prompted. This will sign you out of the Google account on your Android device.

Option 2: Sign Out from Google Play Store:

1. Open the “Google Play Store” app on your Android device.
2. Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top-left corner to open the side menu.
3. Scroll down and tap on “Settings.”
4. Under “General,” you will see the Google account you’re currently signed in with. Tap on it.
5. In the pop-up window, tap on the “Sign out” button.
6. Confirm your choice when prompted. This will sign you out of the Google account associated with the Google Play Store.

Option 3: Sign Out from Gmail:

1. Open the “Gmail” app on your Android device.
2. Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top-left corner to open the side menu.
3. Scroll down and tap on your email address.
4. In the pop-up window, tap on the “Manage accounts on this device” option.
5. Tap on the Google account you want to sign out of.
